Jason Sayde
Jason joined Epec in September 2019 as an Electrical Engineer for the design engineering department. He is responsible for research and development, testing and programming fixtures, as well as creating design schematics and board layouts among other tasks. As an Electrical Engineer, Jason is often involved in new product designs to ensure our products have all the features the customer is expecting as well as making fixtures and procedures to prove out the function of our products. Jason can often be found in the R&D area constructing fixtures and prototypes or deconstructing product to identify possible failures. Jason is usually heavily involved in prototyping and turning a concept idea into a physical product.

It is not often we build an electronic device without any sort of prototyping, but it can happen given the nature of the project and the deadlines being met. If a customer needs a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to hit the floor in 2 months, the time to develop and build a prototype is strained as both the customer and design engineers will want to test it and provide feedback.
